Flag and tonnage surveys for yachts
Registering a yacht under a Red Ensign flag needs a tonnage measurement and supporting technical documents. As UK MCA authorised surveyors operating under IIMS, we prepare them.

Remote or on board
For many yachts up to 24 m length overall the measurement can be done remotely from photographs and a short document list. Physical attendance, and yachts over 24 m, are quoted case by case.
What we need from you
- Make, model, year, builder and length
- Current flag and registration, if any
- Builder’s certificate or proof of ownership
- Photographs as we specify
Registry fees are paid by the owner directly to the registry.
